What it is
Golden is a moisture balm that begins with East African shea and a short list of ingredients. The label says it comforts dry, rough, and sensitive skin and seals in moisture. Nothing is there to make the formula look more impressive.

It's firm in the jar. Warm a little between two fingers and it softens.
Take some and hold it for a moment. The warmth of your fingers softens it until it spreads, then it presses into clean skin or scalp and stays where you put it.

East African shea, on a list a pharmacist kept short.
The base is East African shea butter. The oat, the rice bran and the soy are there to support it, and every one of them is printed on the back of the jar.
