Where it shows up.

  • Cheeks that flush after washing
  • Skin that stings under most lotions
  • Hands that react to soap
  • Necks that object to new products

What may help.

  • Patch test every new product first.
  • Short ingredient lists you can read.
  • One new product at a time.

What to avoid.

  • Fragrance and essential oils, if they have bothered you before.
  • Starting several new products in one week.
  • Scrubs and strong exfoliants.

How to use it.

  1. Patch test first: a small dab inside your forearm, twice a day for three days.
  2. No redness and no stinging? Move to the area you care about.
  3. Then morning and night.

How to give it a fair try.

Four weeks, twice a day. Give any new routine that long before you decide.

  1. First usePatch test done, warm a little and apply it to clean skin. If it stings or turns red, stop and wash it off.
  2. Week 2Keep going, morning and night. Pay attention to the areas that usually react.
  3. Week 4Decide for yourself, in daylight. If it does not suit you, tell us.

Before you buy.

Ask someone first
  • A rash that spreads, blisters or weeps.
  • Swelling of the lips, eyes or face. Get help right away.
  • Any product, ours included, that stings or turns skin red. Stop using it.

In their words.

Unedited and tagged by need. Reviews about a medical condition are kept on file, not posted.

No reviews yet. The first jars ship at launch.

About three weeks after delivery we ask one question: What did you notice, and where did you use it? Every answer lands here as written, good or not.
